Solat Awareness Campaign II

Well, today I had to lead one of the group to Masjid Jamek and Masjid India to help in Solat Awareness Campaign 2 (SAC2). Another group held it at Central Market. Basically SAC2 is to survey about the public awareness about solat especially among Muslim teenagers. As usual, there are many feedbacks. Some are good and motivating. Some are bad and disappointing.

I will sum up all the feedback for the ease of readers. Overall all the Muslims realized the importance of solat. Solat is one of the Pillar of Islam. They admitted that they sometime are lazy and too tired to perform it. Some also responded that the surrounding environment like friends, entertainment did influence them. Speaking about environment, I’ld like to add something. So far after living for 21 years in this world, i do admit that environment shape mostly our whole personality. Why am I saying this? Later i’ll share with you all. For those who had experienced it, they should understand what I mean. Hmm.. So that is the feedback we get.

By the way, congrats to all the participants. I can see that there are a lot of new faces. Despite fasting, they were eager to join this campaign which was held at 2pm. Hopefully this will be the first step for all of you to continue this good deeds.

15th of Ramadhan

Today 14th August 2008 which is also the 14th of Ramadhan. Tonite will be the nite of 15th which mean half month of Ramadhan had passed. For the Muslims, they surely need to reflect back what they had done for the past 15 days. Ramadhan is the month for the ummah. Full with barakah and rahmat. This the month where the Al-Mighty God grant forgiveness to those who are sincerely repent.

Let us together think back again what we had done for the last 15 days. Do we really appreciate each and every second we have? Do we have the iiatiatives to put in more effort in our ibadah? Ask yourself and be prepared for this coming 15 days or Ramadhan. Grab the remaining days and perform at our best. Happy fasting and may Allah bless all of us.

History of Anwar Ibrahim repeating?

Malaysia once again is being exploded with a horrified news. Anwar Ibrahim,PKR de-facto leader and sodomy case. I believed all the Malaysians had been alerted by this news. It had attracted a lot of attention from several party and people. At the same time a lot of rumors, story and news came up. Other news like Altantuya had been shut down awhile because all the attraction had been pulled away to Anwar’s case. There are a lot of source pertaining to Anwar’s case. We should read this news from several perspectives like http://thestar.com, http://www.harakahdaily.net and maybe from other bloggers. This is to ensure that we have a fair view for this case. In 1998, do you still remember there was a similar case to this? This is when Anwar being captured and accused for a sodomy case as well. Is the history going to repeat?

Well this is a big issue. We cannot make any judgment yet. There are still a lot of things has to be investigate. I would like to share my view bout this case. Just from a layman point of view. I can see that Anwar is very confident in this case (I, myself believe that he wouldn’t do that). He seems to be having a strong alibi (That’s great).

Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan, the accuser is a drop out student from UNITEN with really bad CGPA. Students’ Leader with a bad academic performance. How could that be happening? Isn’t there are rule and regulations for a student to join the campus election? Why Saiful is allowed to join the campus election?(Think It Yourself)

There are also a few photographs of Saiful and a few Ministries. The photograph of Saiful and DPM’s Special Officer triggered some questions in my head especially when DPM explained about the photograph. What’s make him so special until he is able to seek help from DPM’s office to obtain a Government Scholarship? I believed there are still many people out there that are more deserve than him. So far as i concern, it is impossible for the Government especially the Ministry Office to entertain this type of problem. Usually Government have their own Department to deal all these stuffs like the Public Service Department. Rite? So what make him so special? What are the requirements he has or his credibility to apply scholarship from the Government? Is he really apply for the scholarship or there are something else?(You answer it yourself)

This is just a humble opinion from me. From a normal person point of view who only think as an ordinary citizen. I’m not winning or blaming who but I only hope we can uphold the justice for the sake of our nation.

Sorry guys.. I was having my two weeks semesters break. So I was unable to update my blog. With this new semester, hope all my friends and I will have a new spirit to strive in our studies. At the same, we try to maintain the blogs. Ganbatey! Jia You! All The Best!

Kung Fu Panda HAIYAK!!!

I was watching Kung Fu Panda this evening. It was really a great movie. I love it so much even though is just a cartoon. Actually I am a cartoon maniac. I love to watch cartoons. Shrek, Madagascar, Flushed Away, Ratatouille etc. The plot of Kung Fu Panda is quite interesting and funny. It is all about a big fat Panda who helps his father, a duck to sell noodles soup and he was accidentally chosen by Wu Gui Master as Dragon Warrior. The task is to protect the village and defeat Thai Long together with his Master Xifu and friends. Can the Panda succeed? How can a Panda without any Kung Fu can be a Dragon Warrior? Wanna know more? Watch it yourself. Is worth your money.

The main point I wanna share here is the phrase I get from Master Xifu, a raccoon.

Tomorrow is mystery, today is reality and yesterday is history.

In our life, there are full with mysteries, yet there are realities and histories. All the things that had passed will be a history in our diary of lives. There are no point to keep pondering or staring at the past. But the history is important to be our teachers. As the proverb said, “Experience is the best Teacher”. Even is just a history, we should reassure that we will never repeat the same mistakes in the past.

Today is 13th of June 2008. Today is reality? Yes. What are we facing NOW is reality. I’m writing blog now is a reality which not yet past or future event. It is happening right now. Speaking about tomorrow, tomorrow is Saturday. Holiday!! Tomorrow is always full with mysteries. We are planning for tomorrow. HE also has HIS plan. And HE is the BEST planner. Hence we will never know what are awaits for us in the future. All our plans may go smoothly and vice versa. But for sure whatever mysteries that we will encountered are the most precious and valuable ones. Why do I say so? B’coz I believe that HE know what is best for us. Something we like do not necessarily good for us and something we hate maybe better for us. Even though it may against our interest, it is the best for us. Don’t you think it is really a mystery?
